Collections Assistant for FBI Art Crime Team

â–ª    Prepare foreign and domestic objects for storage, shipping, and repatriation to source communities
â–ª    Conduct provenance research on objects to determine their culture of origin
â–ª    Supervise a team of graduate students to perform various on-site collections care tasks
â–ª    Regularly update the registration database and entered data into the online/public access database
â–ª    Regularly monitor and document climate of collections storage facility
â–ª    Implement and monitor Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in the collections facility

Teaching and Research Assistant for IUPUI Community Engagement Associates Program

â–ª    Co-design and taught a unit on proper object handling “Object Handling 101” and a unit on box making “Basic Box Making” for “Collections Care and Management” course

Curatorial Fellow for Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

â–ª    Research and curate the special exhibit “No ‘Compact of Silence:’ Black Civil Rights Advocated in the Harrison Era” displayed in the Carriage House Gallery
â–ª    Contact other presidential sites, historical associations, and experts with knowledge of on Black civil rights advocates and held discussions about possible loan agreements
â–ª    Media interviews with local newspapers, tv shows, and radio stations to promote the exhibit opening
â–ª    Conduct research and interviews on Presidential Sites and Indigenous communities with other presidential scholars
â–ª    Inventory 2400+ books, newspapers, campaign ribbons, and other Harrison memorabilia 
â–ª    Assist in filling out loan agreements and returning loans to three different institutions in Indiana
â–ª    Create and update digital catalogue collections management system

Collections Assistant for Tippecanoe County Historical Association

â–ª    Catalogued textiles and completed type-specific condition reports 
â–ª    Photographed textiles and uploaded information to PastPerfect 
â–ª    Matched textiles to older catalogue forms and updated location 
â–ª    Notified the Curator if there were any issues or concerns with the textiles
